Web Services & Integration

Designed as an open platform, Jupiter enables organizations to extend and integrate the Enterprise Content Management with existing solution using a variety of interfacing methods.

Using Jupiter EJBs

Being developed as a multi-tier enterprise application, Jupiter business tier is developed as a set of Enterprise Java Beans Technology (EJB) that wrap all the system usage and administration functionality. Therefore applications written using the Java programming language can utilize this API for calling Jupiter functions from within their application interface. Users will no longer need to switch between applications. Instead, required data will be retrieved and/or indexed in Jupiter repositories transparently from the caller application.

Using Jupiter COM APIs

Applications that are not developed by Java can still fully utilize Jupiter APIs by using the EJB- Com bridge. This bridge converts the APIs interface from its EJB form to the standard Component Object Model (COM) form that can be called from a variety of programming environments including Oracle developer and Visual Basic.

Using Jupiter Web Services

Applications developed with programming languages that support the web services protocol, can still utilize Jupiter functionality using Jupiter’s published web services.
